Course Overview

Graphics is the illustration of various forms of fonts and colour in a wide medium. Graphical illustrations have a major influence in commercial mediums and are becoming an important means of conveying ideas. Ever since the internet found its way to devices such as smartphones, tablets, TVs, and more, professionals with web designing skills have huge demand.

Course Objectives

The course aims to nurture the creative skills of students in graphic design. Making them well versed with all the aspects of the process to be qualified professionals in the field.

Curriculum

The course also focuses on explaining the key concepts of the visual language of a design - from a logo or letterhead to complex website designs. Also includes formal elements of two-dimensional design such as point, line, plane, scale, hierarchy, layers, and transparency.
The course also imparts fundamentals of how the Web and web pages work; and once they learn these fundamentals, students are taught interaction design and user interface design.
